Velvet Rabbit Night at the Ballpark
Join The Velvet Rabbit for a community night with the Akron RubberDucks on Tuesday, July 7th at 7:17 PM at Canal Park in downtown Akron.
This night is about more than baseball.
When people are newly in recovery or currently in treatment, finding community can feel intimidating and overwhelming. A lot of people are rebuilding their lives while learning how to socialize, have fun, and make memories again without substances involved.
Events like this help show people that recovery doesn’t mean life is over. You can still laugh, go out, meet people, and enjoy summer nights again.
We’ll be gathering together for a fun night at the ballpark with community, connection, and a sober space where everyone is welcome.
Tickets
Community tickets will be available for individuals, friends, and families who want to attend and support Velvet Rabbit.
We are also currently seeking sponsors to help provide tickets for people in treatment and members of the recovery community who may not otherwise be able to attend.
